Hmmph!

Oh, dear! My Ravelympic project is not progressing nearly as well as I would like. I'm on my third yarn...the first two were absolutely wrong for the pattern. Lilith rescued me with a skein of Malabrigo Merino Worsted. Finally, 5 days into the challenge I was able to get underway!

Even more exciting than my somewhat feeble attempt to compete on the world stage of knitting (Some knitters have already finished entire shawls/jumpers/pairs of socks...I have 1.5" completed on a hat!!) is what will be happening this Saturday. Lilith of Old Maiden Aunt yarns has been invited by the K1 Yarn shop to do a trunk show at their Edinburgh location. She has been spinning and dying up a storm for this event. If you have a chance to get there, it would be well worth the visit, as her yarns are simply stunning!
