So, what am I bragging about today? It's my Drops A-Line Jacket. It makes me glad that I live in Scotland. Why, you ask? Because Michigan (USA) where I'm from is still dealing with the heat of summer. The cool (...yeah, ok...and damp) climate in the country I now call home has already allowed me to get some use out of this lovely cardi! I finished it a couple weeks ago, but only just managed to get some photos to unveil it to the world:

It's not that often I feel the yarn and pattern are a perfect match, but this is one of those times. I used Rowan Scottish Tweed Aran and I was gushing about it in a previous post here. It's got such a lovely drape and is really soft. Plus the fact that it's aran weight means it knitted up quickly. I'm kind of an instant gratification sort of gal, so that's a big bonus in my book!
Ok, off to start the Sunday chores so I have the evening free to knit!

You are so right to be a show off, that is absolutely gorgeous and fits so well. I am very jealous.
I really love this on you, and agree whole-heartedly about the pattern-yarn combo. So stylish! x K
